Does melatonin cause cancer?

My wife and I have both been taking melatonin on and off for a few years to help us sleep better. Recently, I saw an article online that made me a bit scared about its long-term effects. Is there any truth to the claim that melatonin could potentially cause cancer?

No, melatonin does not cause cancer. In fact, some studies show it has antioxidant properties that are actually beneficial for the body. Eating a clean, plant-based diet rich in natural antioxidants is always the safest way to maintain cellular health.

Please don't worry, melatonin is very safe and does not cause cancer. It is widely used all over the world to treat sleep disorders. Just make sure to buy quality brands and consult your physician if you plan to use it long-term.

Absolutely not. There is zero scientific evidence linking melatonin to cancer. It's a naturally occurring hormone in our body. Just stick to the recommended dosage and don't overthink these internet myths.

I was actually researching this online because my dad takes it. From what I read on reputed medical sites, there's no link to cancer at all; it's just a rumor. It is quite reassuring to know it's safe.

Good sleep is as important as a good biryani! Melatonin doesn't cause cancer, so you can rest easy. Just don't use it as an excuse to stay up late eating mid-night snacks, okay? Get your sleep cycle fixed naturally if possible.
