Does meat cause diabetes?

My father recently got diagnosed with diabetes, and now my mom is asking everyone in the house to cut down on meat. I'm not sure if there's a direct link or if it's just a general healthy eating suggestion. Can anyone clarify?

Eating simple lean meat like grilled chicken in moderation won't directly cause diabetes! 🍗 But eating lots of processed meats can increase the risk over time. Keep your plate colourful with lots of veggies too! 🥗

According to the endocrinologists I consult, red and processed meats contain high levels of sodium and preservatives that can affect insulin sensitivity. However, diabetes is complex and multifactorial, so please consult a specialist to get a personalized dietary plan.

At my age, my doctor blames everything I love for my sugar levels! While meat itself might not directly cause diabetes, those heavy butter chickens and mutton curries we love definitely don't help. Best to stick to simple grilled stuff and keep checking your blood.

Honestly, I'm too tired to worry if my chicken tikka is giving me diabetes. But seriously, if you are frying it in three cups of oil every night, your pancreas is going to protest. Moderation is key, guys.

I was researching this recently because my dad loves non-veg. It seems processed red meats like bacon or sausages are linked to higher insulin resistance, but fresh chicken and fish seem to be safer options. It is all about how it is cooked and how much you eat.

With busy work schedules, we often rely on processed meats because they cook faster. But those preservatives are bad for metabolic health. Try meal prepping simple chicken breast or fish for the week instead of buying frozen sausages.

In our household, we believe a balanced diet with more traditional grains is best for health. While clean meat in small portions is fine, excessive red meat can strain the system. Please consult your family doctor for the right guidance.

I can't live without my weekend mutton biryani! But to prevent any sugar issues, I make sure to balance it out with portion control and skipping sweet desserts afterward. You don't have to give up meat completely, just eat it smartly.

Lean meats like chicken breast and fish are actually great for maintaining muscle mass and insulin sensitivity. Just avoid processed meats and deep frying. Pair your protein with fiber and regular strength training to keep diabetes away.

I am new to managing my own diet and wanted to ask: is it safer to eat fish instead of chicken to avoid diabetes risks? I would love to hear what works for others here.
