Does measles protect against cancer?

I was reading an article online, and it mentioned something about measles having a protective effect against certain diseases. Is there any truth to the idea that having measles could actually protect someone from cancer? It sounds a bit strange to me.

Please do not believe these dangerous theories online. Measles is a highly dangerous disease that can cause severe complications like pneumonia and brain inflammation. Always consult proper doctors instead of relying on such speculative ideas.

I keep up with medical research on my feed, and there is some ongoing study about modified measles viruses being used in cancer immunotherapy. But that is a highly controlled laboratory treatment, not the actual wild virus. Getting natural measles does not protect you from cancer.

Hey bro, don't stress too much about these weird internet rumors. Natural measles has no proven protective effect against cancer at all. Just focus on a healthy lifestyle and don't skip your routine vaccinations!

Natural health comes from living in harmony with nature and keeping our body clean. The measles virus is a severe infection that weakens the body, and there is no ancient or modern proof that it protects against chronic illnesses like cancer.

Oh wow, that sounds like a big internet myth! 😮 Natural measles is just a super painful illness and definitely won't protect you from cancer. Stay safe, get vaccinated, and keep your immunity strong with healthy food! 🍏

Let's be clear: having the measles virus naturally does not immunize or protect you against cancer. There is research using genetically engineered oncophytic measles strains to target cancer cells, but that is completely different from getting infected. Please ensure your measles vaccination is up to date.

I just recovered from measles last month and let me tell you, it was absolute hell. My doctor explicitly told me that catching the virus has no health benefits and only puts you at risk for severe long-term complications. Don't trust these online rumors.
