Does massaging piles help?

I've been having some discomfort with piles lately, and it's quite bothersome. My aunt suggested trying gentle massage in the area for relief. I wanted to check if massaging actually helps with piles or if it could make things worse.

Actually, don't try massaging them, yaar. Piles are swollen veins, and rubbing or massaging them can cause severe bleeding or irritation. It is much better to use a simple warm water sitz bath instead.

Massaging the area is not recommended as it can hurt the delicate tissues. Instead, practicing gentle Ashwini Mudra and focusing on a high-fiber diet can help relieve the pressure naturally. Keep your body cool.

If you have piles, massaging will only worsen the swelling. Save your time and get a proper stool softener or cream prescribed by a doctor. Drink plenty of water during your office hours.

I suffered from piles last year, and my doctor strictly warned me against touching or massaging them. It can cause a lot of pain and infection. Sitz baths and prescribed ointments were the only things that helped me.

I completely understand how uncomfortable and stressful it is to deal with piles, it can make you feel so anxious. Please don't try any self-massage as it might cause bleeding. Take a deep breath and consult a general surgeon for a safe opinion.

For mild relief, you can sit in a tub of warm water for 15 minutes twice a day. But please do not try to massage or squeeze the piles. If there is bleeding or severe pain, go to a doctor immediately.

Oh, please don't massage them! It can be really painful and risky. Stick to drinking lots of water and eating fresh papaya to keep your stomach happy.
