Does massage help nerve pain?

I've been dealing with this burning nerve pain in my arm for a while now, and the medication only helps so much. I was wondering if getting regular massages could help alleviate some of this discomfort. Is massage effective for nerve pain?

Haan, nerve pain mein thoda relaxation toh milta hai massage se, par bahut zor se press mat karwana na. Nerves bahut sensitive hoti hain, so gentle touch hi best rahega.

Please be extremely careful. I tried a heavy massage for my sciatica nerve pain last year, and it actually pinched the nerve more, causing severe numbness. Please consult a proper neurologist before letting anyone massage your back.

Actually, my dad had this nerve issue in his foot, yaar. He used a simple electronic foot massager on a very low setting, and it helped him feel much better. Just don't use heavy pressure.

Along with a light massage, make sure you are getting enough Vitamin B12, as its deficiency is a major cause of nerve pain in vegetarians. Add more dairy and get tested regularly.

A good head and shoulder massage always relaxes my nerves after a heavy weekend food crawl! But honestly, for real nerve pain, a gentle touch is key. Don't let them press too hard.
