Does marijuana affect your liver?

I've been using marijuana occasionally for relaxation, but my friend recently warned me that it might be bad for my liver. I'm trying to be careful with my health, so I'm wondering if it really has a negative impact on liver function.

Arey, if you are munching on endless oily pakodas after using it, then your liver will definitely cry! Honestly though, direct liver damage from it is rare, but the lifestyle habits around it can surely affect you. Just don't make your liver do double shift with junk food.

In our family, elders always say that any smoke or intoxicant puts load on the body. My cousin actually asked his physician about this last year. The doctor explained that heavy long-term use can sometimes complicate existing liver issues, so it is best to avoid it.

Our body is a temple and everything we put inside has an energy and physical impact. Staying positive and gentle with your habits helps. If you feel any heaviness, just listen to your body and give it rest from such substances.

Look beta, whatever we eat or consume goes through our body's main system. Even simple things can harm if taken too much, so these things are bound to affect the liver and stomach. Please keep your body clean and healthy.

I used to smoke up a lot during college but started getting bad digestion issues and yellow eyes. Doctors ran tests and told me to completely stop as it was stressing my system. Got clean and my liver values went back to normal, so yeah, it does affect you.

I was actually researching this online because there are so many mixed studies. Some papers say it doesn't cause fatty liver directly, but if someone already has Hepatitis, it can speed up the damage. Quite confusing honestly, so better to be safe.

I always believe in keeping a clean diet with green juices and simple food to keep the liver happy. Toxins from any such substances interfere with how your liver digests fats. It is much better to stick to natural herbal teas for relaxation.

Listen, don't panic too much if it was a one-time thing, but yes, regular use does put stress on your metabolic system. Your liver has to process everything you consume. Just take care of your health, eat fresh fruits, and stay away from daily habits.
