Does magnesium spray help you sleep?

My sister keeps telling me about these magnesium sprays that you put on your skin to help relax and sleep. I'm wondering if a spray can actually be absorbed enough to help with sleep issues. Is this a common remedy?

For me, spraying a little magnesium on the soles of my feet feels very grounding. I combine this with five minutes of deep pranayama right before sleeping. It brings a nice calmness to the body, almost like a natural therapy.

I totally understand how frustrating it is when you just cannot sleep and start searching for every possible cure online. I used to stay up anxious all night too. The magnesium spray did help me relax my tense shoulders, which slowly made sleeping a bit easier.

At 50, my joints have their own orchestra at night. This magnesium spray actually helps quieten down that restless feeling in my legs. It won't knock you out like a sleeping pill, but at least you aren't fighting your own legs all night.

I can only share what worked for me. I sprayed it on my calves for two weeks and noticed my nighttime leg cramps went down. It did not directly make me sleepy, but staying pain-free definitely helped me get uninterrupted rest.

Insomnia can make you feel so lonely and defeated at 3 AM. I bought the spray out of sheer desperation because I was crying from tiredness. While it is not a magical cure, the physical act of massaging it in gave me a quiet routine that slowly eased my mind.

Those fancy sleep sprays online are priced way too high. I suggest visiting a local doctor to get your basic vitamin and mineral levels checked first, which costs almost the same as one premium bottle. No point wasting money if your body doesn't even need magnesium.

Don't freak out if your skin burns or gets red when you spray it! I panicked and washed it off with cold water the first time, thinking I had a chemical burn. It turns out that a mild sting is very common with magnesium spray and it stops happening after a few uses.
