Does magnesium oil help you sleep?

I've seen some videos online about applying magnesium oil to your skin to help with sleep. I'm a bit skeptical about how it would work topically. Can magnesium oil really be effective for better sleep?

Honestly, I cannot say if it works medically, but I have been spraying magnesium oil on my soles before sleeping for a month now. My legs feel so much lighter and I do not toss and turn as much. It did tingle a bit initially, but now it is just part of my night routine.

Before buying expensive imported magnesium sprays online, check your local pharmacy first. Sometimes getting a basic blood panel done to check actual deficiencies is cheaper in the long run than trying random products. I always plan my health budget around real doctor advice and basic tests instead of guessing.

I tried magnesium oil because my screen time is high and sleep was wrecked. It helps relax the muscles a bit, but do not expect it to magically fix a bad routine. You still have to put the phone away at least half an hour before trying to sleep.

I got so scared the first time I used it because my skin started itching like crazy! I thought I was having a severe allergic reaction and almost threw it away. But then I read online that mild itching is totally normal with magnesium oil and it goes away in ten minutes.

I have tried everything from warm haldi doodh to chamomile tea, and recently tried magnesium oil too. It definitely helps with that restless leg feeling that keeps you awake. Just spray a little and massage it well, but keep your expectations realistic, dear.
