Does lupus cause muscle pain?

I've been having persistent muscle aches and tenderness lately, along with my Lupus diagnosis. I'm wondering if this is another symptom related to my condition. Can Lupus be a cause for muscle pain, or should I be looking for other reasons?

I'm really trying to understand this disease better. Does the muscle pain usually happen all over the body, or is it just in specific areas like the arms and legs? If anyone could explain their experience, I would be very grateful.

Yes, muscle pain is a very known symptom of lupus! 💪 But don't worry, once you start the right therapy with your rheumatologist, this fatigue and pain will reduce. Keep your spirits up! ✨

I ignored my persistent muscle aches for months thinking it was just weakness from overworking, and I really regret not getting tested sooner. Lupus can indeed cause severe muscle inflammation. Please don't ignore these signs and get a proper checkup.

Lupus does cause deep muscle soreness due to inflammation. While very gentle stretching and slow pranayama help soothe the nervous system, you must follow your medical prescription for the core issue. Listen to your body and rest well.
