Does lonsurf kill cancer cells?

My wife has just started Lonsurf for her cancer treatment, and we are trying to understand more about this medicine. We know it's for cancer, but does Lonsurf directly kill cancer cells, or does it work in another way?

Yes, Lonsurf stops the cancer cells from growing and multiplying. Along with this heavy medication, keeping up your physical stamina with light 15-minute walks is really important if your oncologist approves.

I am looking up this medicine for my mother and I feel so anxious reading about how it works. Does it really help shrink the tumor effectively? If anyone's family member has used it, please share your experience.

Actually, it does, yaar. It basically gets into the DNA of the cancer cells and stops them from making new cells, which eventually kills them. It is a proper chemotherapy drug in pill form.

Yes dear, Lonsurf is used for advanced stages to control and kill cancer cells. It helps slow down the disease. Just ensure the patient gets regular blood tests as recommended by the doctor, as it can lower blood counts.

Yes, it is designed to target and destroy cancer cells. Since these cancer treatments can affect your overall body systems, make sure to monitor other health parameters like blood sugar carefully if you have diabetes.
