Does liver regrow itself?

My doctor told me that the liver has an amazing capacity to heal. I was surprised to hear that. Does the liver actually regrow itself, even after significant damage?

It is absolutely true that the liver can regrow, even if a part of it is removed during surgery. I used to give my husband warm amla juice and fresh turmeric to help his liver health, but always keep your doctor in the loop.

Yes, our body has immense natural healing power. Along with medical advice, practicing gentle pranayama like Kapalbhati and eating simple, freshly cooked meals can support the liver's natural ability to regrow and heal itself.

Absolutely, it's the only human organ capable of true regeneration. But this process can be blocked by chronic inflammation or alcohol abuse. Keep your lifestyle in check and get an ultrasound done if you suspect any issues.

Yes, it does regrow, but you must stop putting pressure on it with heavy, fatty foods. Try drinking warm lemon water in the morning to help cleanse it. If you have severe liver pain or jaundice, please go to a hospital immediately.

Yes, liver regeneration is a well-known medical fact. When we were exploring a liver transplant for a relative at Apollo Hospital, the doctors explained how both donor and recipient livers regrow. Do consult a hepatologist for any specific medical doubts.

Actually yaar, the liver is like the only organ that can fully regrow itself even if like 70% of it is damaged or cut. It's crazy! But still, don't take it for granted and keep your diet clean.

While the liver has regrowing powers, severe scarring or cirrhosis stops this from happening. I learned this the hard way after ignoring my symptoms for years. Please get regular liver function tests and see a specialist.

My son had a liver biopsy, and we were so worried about how it would heal. The doctors explained that the liver tissue regrows very quickly in children. Giving them balanced, home-cooked food is the best way to support this recovery.

My uncle donated a part of his liver to his daughter, and within a few months, both of their livers regrew to almost normal size! It's so fascinating how the body works. Just make sure to consult a doctor if you are facing any liver issues.

I had a liver lobe infection years ago and was terrified, but the doctor assured me it would regrow and heal. The key is strict discipline—no alcohol, minimal oil, and taking prescribed liver support supplements without fail.

Yes, it regrows, which is great news for anyone recovering from liver issues. Since most of us have busy schedules, focusing on basic habits like avoiding processed foods and staying hydrated is the easiest way to let the liver do its job.

It's amazing that the liver can regrow itself, which makes me feel slightly less guilty about my weekend food binges! But seriously, we shouldn't test its limits. Balancing heavy meals with salads and detox days is a must.
