Does liver problem cause acne?

I've been struggling with persistent acne for years now, and no treatment seems to fully work. My friend suggested it might be related to my internal health. Can a liver problem cause acne breakouts?

I went through terrible cystic acne on my cheeks and chin, and someone told me it's because of liver toxins. It made me feel so insecure and stressed. Please don't lose hope, getting a proper skin and blood checkup really helped me find the right cure.

Sometimes heat in the body and poor digestion cause pimples. Try drinking plenty of water, cut down on oily sweets, and eat fresh fruits. If the acne is very stubborn, show it to a skin doctor or a general physician.

Yes, if the liver isn't filtering toxins properly, it can show up on your skin as rashes or severe acne breakouts. I ignored my skin changes until other liver symptoms got worse. Please get a liver function test done to find the root cause.

My grandmother used to say skin issues happen when the blood needs purification, and suggested neem leaves. But modern medicine says hormonal issues or liver sluggishness can also play a role. It is best to consult a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis.

I was reading about this online yesterday because I've been breaking out suddenly. Apparently, liver congestion can affect hormone balance, which leads to oily skin and acne. It's quite interesting how everything in the body is connected.
