Does liver detox work?

My colleagues at work are always talking about 'liver detox' diets and supplements. They claim it makes them feel much healthier. But does liver detox actually work, or is it just a fad?

To be very honest, liver detox products are mostly a marketing gimmick with no scientific backing. Your liver is a self-cleaning organ that doesn't need expensive juices or powders to detoxify. If you have liver issues, consult a qualified medical professional instead of buying internet remedies.

I tried those green detox juices for a month hoping to feel fresh, but honestly, they just gave me stomach upset. What actually worked for my liver health was cutting down on fried food and drinking normal water. Save your money and keep it simple!

Bro, save your cash. My roommate bought this super expensive detox kit online and all it did was make him run to the washroom every ten minutes. It doesn't work; just stop eating junk food if you want your liver to feel better.

I keep seeing these detox ads and they make me so anxious that my liver is full of toxins! I almost bought a liver cleanse pack yesterday. But my friend said they can actually harm your liver enzymes, so I am holding off. Please be very careful with these products.

I understand the desperation of wanting a quick fix when you feel sluggish and unhealthy. I spent so much money on detox pills out of sheer guilt about my lifestyle. It was emotionally exhausting to realize they do nothing. Real healing takes time, clean food, and proper medical advice.

I can only share my own test results. I had mild fatty liver and tried detox teas for three months, but my ultrasound showed no change. My liver only improved after I got a proper diet chart from my doctor and started exercising.

In my sixty years, I have seen so many health trends come and go. Our ancestors never used any 'detox' supplements; they just ate home-cooked meals and kept fasts occasionally. Trust your body's natural system, it knows how to clean itself.

According to clinical studies tracked on most health apps, there is zero evidence that commercial liver cleanses remove toxins. If you want to support your liver, track your daily hydration and aim for 30g of fiber. That is the only proven way to assist your body's natural processes.
