Does lidocaine help muscle pain?

I'm having a lot of muscle pain after a strenuous workout. My friend suggested trying a cream with Lidocaine. Does Lidocaine actually help to relieve muscle pain effectively?

Lidocaine only numbs the area temporarily, dear. For true relief from muscle stiffness, try gentle stretching or yoga nidra. It is always better to let the body heal naturally through mild movement rather than using numbing chemicals.

Honestly, I used a lidocaine patch after gym day and it did help numb the surface pain a bit. But for deep muscle soreness, a simple hot water bag works way better. Don't expect it to cure the actual muscle fatigue, it just numbs the skin.

I know how exhausting it is to live with constant body pain, it really drains you mentally. Lidocaine creams can give you a small break from the pain so you can sleep, but please don't rely on it daily without finding the root cause.

Actually yaar, lidocaine spray muscle pain mein thoda temporary relief de deta hai but it's not a permanent solution. Mere back pain ke liye use kiya tha, thodi der ke liye sunn ho gaya but main dard toh waisa hi tha. Better go to a doc if it hurts too much.

Haan bhai, lidocaine cream lagane se dard thoda kam zaroor lagta hai kyunki wo jagah sunn ho jati hai. Lekin humare yahan toh mustard oil se maalish sabse badhiya maante hain. Agar dard bohot zyada hai toh doctor babu ko zaroor dikhana.

I was just reading about this online! Apparently, lidocaine is an anesthetic, so it only blocks nerve signals on the skin surface. It doesn't actually heal muscle fibers, but it seems okay for quick, temporary relief if you are in a lot of discomfort.

Lidocaine provides temporary local relief, but also focus on what you are eating. Many times, muscle cramps happen due to lack of magnesium or potassium in your vegetarian diet. Try eating more bananas and leafy greens along with using any gels.
