Does lax have sleep pods?
I have a very long layover coming up at LAX, and I really need to catch some sleep before my next flight. Just wondering, does the airport offer any sleep pods or similar facilities for passengers to rest comfortably?

LAX doesn't have official sleeping pods inside the terminals currently, though they have lounge options. Also, if you are having severe fatigue or sleep disorders during travel, consulting a doctor is always a better approach than just finding spots to crash.
As far as I know, there are no actual sleep pods there, which is a total bummer during long layovers! I usually just find a quiet gate with padded seats and use my backpack as a pillow.
No sleep pods at LAX, but honestly, I just head straight to the food court or nearby lounges for a massive meal. A good, heavy burger or some warm soup always makes me fall asleep right on the terminal chairs anyway!
I didn't find any sleep pods when I traveled through LAX last time, which was tough because my thyroid fatigue makes long transits very exhausting. I always make sure my TSH levels are under control and check with my doctor before undertaking such long flights.
I looked for them last year and couldn't find any. If you are very tired during your transit, maybe try finding a quiet corner in the international terminal where it is a bit less crowded to rest.

They don't have dedicated sleep pods, so it is best to pack an eye mask, some earplugs, and a neck pillow in your hand luggage. Staying hydrated during the flight also helps prevent that extreme tiredness when you land.
Don't worry too much about the lack of sleep pods at LAX. If you have a long layover, there are airport hotels close by with shuttle services, or you can buy a day pass for one of the lounges to rest safely.
