Does lavender oil help you sleep?

Someone recommended using lavender oil to improve sleep quality. I'm desperate for a good night's rest after struggling for weeks. Has anyone here tried it, and did it make a difference?

Haan babu, mere bete ne mujhe ye lavender tel lakar diya tha jab mujhe raat ko neend nahi aati thi. Isko thoda sa sir par lagane se man bahut shant ho jata hai aur achhi neend aane lagti hai.

Bro, my sleep schedule was so broken that even coffee wasn't working to keep me awake, let alone sleeping. But putting lavender oil in my room actually helps me crash by midnight instead of staring at the ceiling till 3 AM.

I had severe sleep issues last year and tried everything. Lavender oil works best if you use a humidifier in a closed dark room, but remember it won't work if you are still using your phone in bed.

I can totally relate to this because my screen time before bed is crazy. Honestly, rubbing a drop of lavender oil on my wrists helps me disconnect and sleep much faster than usual.

Just went through three weeks of horrible insomnia due to office stress. I started putting two drops of lavender oil on my pillow case last week, and I am finally waking up feeling rested without any heavy head.

Lavender oil is fine for a temporary fix, but please don't rely only on these oils if your sleep issue has been going on for months. I ignored my sleep trouble for a long time and it turned out to be chronic anxiety, so get a proper checkup done.
