Does ivermectin help psoriasis?

My psoriasis flares up quite often, and it's quite bothersome. I saw a discussion online mentioning Ivermectin as a possible remedy, does Ivermectin help psoriasis?

I've lived with psoriasis for 10 years now. Trust me, Ivermectin has absolutely no role in treating psoriasis. You need proper topical coal tar preparations, moisturizers, and sometimes immunosuppressants prescribed by a skin specialist. Don't fall for internet shortcuts.

Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition, so Ivermectin, which is an antiparasitic, won't really help it. I've found that regular light exercise like walking, along with a clean diet, helps manage autoimmune flare-ups. Always discuss with your dermatologist first.

There is no scientific or clinical evidence to support the use of Ivermectin for psoriasis. Psoriasis is caused by rapid skin cell buildup due to immune dysfunction, while Ivermectin targets parasites. It is best to consult a dermatologist for evidence-based treatments.

Managing diabetes means I have to keep my skin very healthy to avoid infections. Psoriasis requires proper medical management, not antiparasitic drugs like Ivermectin. Keeping blood sugar stable and skin moist is a far better approach.

I can only share that my uncle has psoriasis and he uses specific steroid ointments and light therapy. He was never prescribed anything like Ivermectin because it's not meant for autoimmune skin issues.

Instead of wasting money on off-label medications like Ivermectin, plan your budget for a dermatologist consult and basic blood tests. Buying the right medicated soaps and ointments directly is much more cost-effective in the long run.

Psoriasis can sometimes be associated with joint issues like psoriatic arthritis. It is very important to get a proper clinical diagnosis and not try self-medication with drugs like Ivermectin, which could cause adverse reactions.

Haan yaar, psoriasis toh immune system ki wajah se hota hai na. Usme Ivermectin kaise kaam karegi? Woh toh keede maarne ki dawa hai. Kisi acche skin wale doctor ko dikhao, wohi sahi cream batayenge.

Beta, in my sixty years I have seen many people struggle with skin issues. Psoriasis requires patience, a calm mind, and gentle skin care. Strong medicines like Ivermectin are not the cure for this; trust the natural healing of time and simple ointments.

Bhai, don't try taking Ivermectin for psoriasis. It won't work because psoriasis isn't a worm infection. I have a friend who tried random pills and ended up with bad stomach issues. Stick to what a real skin doctor prescribes you.

Psoriasis scales can be managed simply by applying pure coconut oil or liquid paraffin after bathing. You don't need expensive or heavy prescription medicines like Ivermectin for standard skin hydration.

My skin has enough problems already without me feeding it random medicines! Ivermectin is for parasites, so unless you have worms crawling on you, it won't touch your psoriasis. Better to stick to standard moisturizing creams.
