I've been struggling with severe eczema for a long time, and I'm always looking for new treatments. Someone told me about Ivermectin for skin conditions; does Ivermectin help eczema?

I have to be very careful with skin infections due to my diabetes. Ivermectin is generally not the standard treatment for eczema, which is an inflammatory skin condition. If you have eczema, focusing on moisturizers and managing your blood sugar levels can help improve overall skin healing.

No, Ivermectin is an antiparasitic drug, not an eczema treatment. Eczema requires barrier creams, topical steroids, or immunomodulators prescribed by a dermatologist. Do not use random medication on compromised skin.

I have high BP and noticed that stress flares up my skin issues. Taking Ivermectin won't help with eczema because eczema is related to skin barrier inflammation and stress, not parasites. Try daily meditation and a mild moisturizing cream instead.

While topical ivermectin is sometimes used for rosacea due to its effect on skin mites, it is not a standard treatment for classical eczema. Eczema has different underlying triggers, so it is highly recommended to seek a proper diagnosis from a dermatologist.

Eczema is usually an allergic or genetic skin condition, so antiparasitics like oral Ivermectin won't help. You need good quality emollient creams to keep the skin hydrated and sometimes a mild steroid ointment during flare-ups. Please consult a doctor before starting any oral tablets.

Don't waste time experimenting with unproven treatments. If you have eczema, book a quick online consultation with a dermatologist. They will give you the right creams and antihistamines, saving you days of discomfort and trial-and-error.

Keep your skin care simple. Instead of looking for strong medicines like Ivermectin, apply virgin coconut oil right after your bath and use a soap-free body wash. This simple routine keeps the eczema dryness away without costing much.

With my PCOS, I get dry skin patches and I have to be very careful. Eczema is an autoimmune response, so an antiparasitic like Ivermectin is unlikely to help. Always check with your doctor before trying off-label uses of any medication.

I once self-medicated with a strong cream for a rash and it caused a severe allergic reaction that took months to heal. Eczema skin is extremely sensitive, so please do not experiment with drugs like Ivermectin without a direct prescription from a skin specialist.

I love spicy street food but it always makes my eczema itch like crazy! From my experience, avoiding oily food and staying hydrated works wonders. Taking a heavy drug like Ivermectin won't solve the itch anyway, so better to focus on a clean diet.
