Does induction cooker cause cancer?

We recently bought an induction cooktop for our new kitchen, thinking it's modern and efficient. But now my wife is worried after reading some posts online. Does an induction cooker actually cause cancer?

No, induction cookers are totally safe and do not cause cancer. They use electromagnetic fields that only heat the pan, not the surrounding air. Focus on eating organic food and getting your daily 10k steps instead of worrying about the stove.

These modern electronic cookers use magnetic fields, but they do not cause such diseases. Still, cooking in iron vessels or clay pots on a normal gas stove keeps the food taste and health intact. Use whatever is convenient, but eat fresh home-cooked food.

I researched this thoroughly and even asked an oncologist friend. Induction cooktops emit low-frequency electromagnetic radiation, which is non-ionizing and completely safe. It does not have enough energy to damage DNA or cause cancer. You can use it without any fear.

I had the same doubt when I bought my first induction stove for my PG. I checked with my science professor, and she reassured me that it is completely safe. It just uses simple magnetism, so don't worry at all!

If induction cookers caused cancer, half of the hostel students in India would be in big trouble by now! It is completely safe. The only thing it kills is your patience when you try to make round rotis on it.

My family also panicked about this when I was recovering from health issues. There is no scientific link between induction and cancer. However, if you are experiencing unexplained weight loss or fatigue, please consult a doctor for a proper checkup instead of blaming kitchen appliances.

In my sixty years, I have seen people panic about microwaves, mobile phones, and now induction. None of these have been proven to cause cancer. We have been using induction in our house for 10 years now, and everyone is perfectly healthy.

Actually, induction is very cheap and saves a lot of money compared to LPG cylinders these days. Don't believe these WhatsApp rumors about cancer, they are totally baseless. It is a highly cost-effective way to cook.
