Does indica make you sleep?

I'm really struggling with insomnia and a friend recommended 'Indica' as a way to get some rest. I'm curious. Does Indica genuinely make you sleep, or is it more of a calming effect?

I was researching about this online because of my own late-night screen time habits. It seems indica strains have more terpenes like myrcene, which are supposedly very sedating. Still, it feels safer to just put the phone away an hour before bed.

Yes, it basically acts as a heavy sedative and relaxes the physical body completely. But honestly, relying on it to sleep every night is a bad pattern. Better to fix your lifestyle, limit caffeine after 2 PM, and consult a proper specialist if the issue persists.

I completely understand how frustrating it is when you just can't sleep and your mind keeps racing, it's a terrible feeling. While indica can help you feel sleepy and relaxed, using it constantly might hide the real reason behind your sleeplessness. Please take care of yourself.

Having PCOS, my sleep cycle is already a mess, and I have looked into this too. It might help you drift off, but we have to be very careful with hormones and how substances affect our endocrine system. I would suggest asking your doctor before trying it.

I struggled with insomnia for two years and tried everything under the sun. Indica might give you a quick fix, but your sleep quality actually degrades and you feel groggy the next morning. The only thing that truly worked for me was keeping a strict sleep schedule and a dark, cool room.

My smartwatch tracking actually showed that while substances like indica helped me fall asleep faster, my deep sleep and REM cycles actually dropped. If you want quality rest, sticking to a natural circadian rhythm is much better than relying on sleep aids.
