I've learned to be very careful with stomach medicines because hormonal changes often cause gut issues for me. Imodium isn't a painkiller and won't help with general stomach aches. It's safer to stick to warm water or light herbal tea until you know what's causing it.
Imodium is specifically designed to stop loose motions, not to relieve stomach pain. In fact, if your pain is from gas or food poisoning, taking Imodium can actually trap the toxins and make the cramping much worse. Try an antispasmodic for pain instead.
Please be very careful before popping Imodium for random stomach pain. If the pain is severe or on the right side, it could be appendix issues, and taking self-medication is extremely risky. Get it checked by a proper doctor first.
No, Imodium won't help with pain. It only stops diarrhea. If you are having stomach cramps along with loose stools, the pain usually gets better naturally once the bowels empty. Don't take extra pills unnecessarily.

Bro, definitely don't take Imodium for stomach ache. I made that mistake last year when my stomach was cramping from acidity. It just constipated me badly and the pain got way worse. Just use a hot water bag or take a basic antacid.
