Does ibuprofen help you sleep?

I've been having trouble sleeping lately because of some muscle soreness from my gym workouts. Someone told me that ibuprofen can sometimes make you drowsy and help you sleep. Does ibuprofen help you sleep when you're in pain?

No yaar, ibuprofen is actually just a painkiller, not a sleeping pill. If pain is keeping you awake, then taking it might help you rest. But otherwise, it won't make you sleepy at all.

Ibuprofen won't help you sleep unless muscle soreness is keeping you up. If you are struggling with rest, try finishing your workouts earlier in the day and avoiding heavy meals or screen time before hitting the bed.

Ibuprofen doesn't have sedative properties. When I track my sleep on my smartwatch, taking painkillers only improves sleep quality if I had physical pain keeping me awake. Otherwise, my sleep cycles remain exactly the same.

My physician explicitly told me that ibuprofen has no active sleep-inducing agents. It is strictly an anti-inflammatory drug. If it helps someone sleep, it's solely because their physical discomfort was relieved.

Please don't use pain relievers as sleep aids based on internet advice. Taking ibuprofen daily for sleep can cause severe stomach ulcers and kidney issues. Consult a proper doctor to find out why you have insomnia.

Using ibuprofen regularly just to try and sleep is highly risky, especially if you have high BP like me. Better to check your daily routine, reduce salt, and talk to your cardiologist about safe sleep management.

Haan, painkillers se neend nahi aati unless aapko koi dard ho jo sone na de raha ho. Basic insomnia ke liye ibuprofen mat lena, its not healthy na.

I struggled with sleeplessness for months and trust me, ibuprofen won't help unless you are in pain. Try drinking warm chamomile tea or a cup of warm turmeric milk before bed, it really helps calm the mind naturally.
