Does ibuprofen help with fever?

My whole family has been down with the flu this week, and we're all having fevers. I have some ibuprofen at home. I just wanted to confirm if ibuprofen is effective for reducing fever.

Yes, it does help with fever and body pain. My mother usually suggests resting and drinking warm rasam, but for the actual temperature, we follow our family doctor's advice and take the prescribed dose after food.

It helps with the fever, but please support your recovery with a light, nutritious diet like warm vegetable soup or moong dal khichdi. Keeping your digestion light helps the body heal faster alongside the medicine.

It definitely works for fever, which is great because fever totally ruins my appetite! Just eat a little khichdi or some toast before taking the tablet so it doesn't upset your stomach.

Hey, yes it absolutely helps bring the fever down! Just don't stress too much, keep drinking lots of water and coconut water, and take some proper rest. You will be completely fine soon.

Yes, it helps control fever and body aches. I usually log my temperature and heart rate on my health tracker to see how the recovery is progressing. If the fever stays high even after a couple of doses, definitely consult a doctor.

I just recovered from a viral fever last week and ibuprofen really helped reduce my temperature and joint aches. Just make sure you don't take it on an empty stomach, as it caused some mild acidity for me.
