Does ibuprofen help u sleep?

Sometimes after a long day at work, my body aches a lot and then I can't sleep. My roommate says ibuprofen can help with pain and sometimes makes you drowsy. Is it true that ibuprofen helps you sleep?

No, it doesn't have any sedative ingredients to make you sleep. If you are having trouble sleeping, try a cup of warm chamomile tea or some breathing exercises. If the insomnia is severe, it's always best to consult a doctor.

It won't make you sleepy directly because it's not a sleep aid. However, if pain is what's keeping you awake, taking it can relieve that discomfort and help you rest. I track my sleep patterns on my smartwatch and notice a big difference once pain is managed.

Haan na, sleep issues are so frustrating. Ibuprofen won't make you drowsy, it just stops the pain so you can sleep peacefully. Better to avoid painkillers if you don't have any pain, ho na?

Ibuprofen is strictly an anti-inflammatory painkiller, not a sleeping pill. Taking it regularly just for sleep can damage your stomach lining and kidneys. If sleep is the only issue, talk to your doctor about safer options.

Haan, isme koi neend ki dawai nahi hoti. Agar badan dard ki wajah se neend nahi aa rahi, tab toh relief milega aur neend aa jayegi. Par sirf sone ke liye mat lena, woh sahi nahi hai na.

I totally understand how frustrating it is when you can't sleep and start looking for any quick fix. But please don't use painkillers for sleep. It used to make me anxious too, but switching to a proper nighttime routine helped much more.

It doesn't induce sleep at all. If you want better recovery and deep sleep, try cutting off caffeine after 2 PM and doing some light stretching before bed. It works naturally and is much better for your fitness goals.
