Yes, it really helps with that dull ache after getting your braces tightened. I usually track my pain levels and medication timing on my health app so I don't overdo the dosage. Just take it as prescribed by your orthodontist.

My son just got his braces last month and was in so much pain he couldn't eat. Our dentist suggested giving him ibuprofen before his tightening appointments, and it worked beautifully. I also give him cold milkshakes and khichdi on those days.

I wore braces for two years and ibuprofen was a lifesaver, honestly. Take it about an hour before your dental appointment so it kicks in early. Also, stick to soft foods like curd rice and dahlia for the first three days.

My grandchildren had a very tough time when they first got their braces. Ibuprofen helped them sleep during those first few painful days. Don't worry, the pain is temporary and your mouth will get used to it very soon.

Oh my god, when I first got braces, the pain was so bad I literally cried and thought something was broken! But then I took an ibuprofen and it got so much better. It is completely normal to feel that pressure, don't worry.

I literally haven't slept a wink because of this new wire tightening. Ibuprofen is the only reason I am functioning today, else my jaw would have fallen off. Highly recommend it if you want to save your sanity tonight.

Haan, bilkul help karega. But don't keep taking it like candy every day. Use it only for the first two days after tightening. Eat soft food and stop complaining, it will get fine in a week.

It works well to reduce the inflammation in your gums from the braces. Since eating solid food is hard, I rely on protein shakes, smoothies, and mashed sweet potatoes to keep my nutrition up. Avoid hard foods so you don't break any brackets.

Yes, it helps! Otherwise, you'll feel like someone is constantly pulling your teeth out with pliers. Take the pill, eat some ice cream, and pretend you're a kid again. You'll survive this dental torture!

Haan, braces lagwane ke baad toh bahut dard hota hai yaar. Ibuprofen se kafi relief milta hai, doctor ne mujhe bhi bataya tha. Thoda dahi-chawal khao aur garam paani ke kulla karo, thik ho jayega na.

I totally get it, that constant aching pressure makes it impossible to concentrate on anything. Ibuprofen really helps take the edge off. Just hang in there, the first few days are the hardest but it gets much easier!

It can help, but I try to avoid popping pills too often. Applying ice packs on your cheeks or doing warm salt water rinses helps a lot with the soreness. If the wire is poking or causing bleeding, make sure to see your dentist immediately.
