Does hypertension cause stroke?

My husband's blood pressure is always high, and he sometimes gets dizzy spells. My neighbor told me that high BP can lead to a stroke. Is it true that hypertension causes stroke?

My husband had very high blood pressure for years and sadly suffered a stroke last winter. Based on what we went through, keeping blood pressure under control is absolutely critical.

Do not listen to people online telling you to drink garlic juice to prevent stroke. Hypertension is the number one cause of stroke, and only a qualified doctor can give you the right medication to manage it.

I survived a stroke two years ago because I was careless with my daily BP medicines. High pressure can burst or block a blood vessel in the brain. Please, see your doctor and never skip your medications.

I am really scared because my mother was just diagnosed with high BP. Does it always lead to a stroke, or can we prevent it completely with regular medicines? Please help.

High BP is indeed the main reason behind brain stroke. Along with regular doctor visits, try to eat a low-salt diet, avoid anger, and drink warm water in the morning to keep the body calm.

Yes, the physical body suffers when there is too much pressure. Keep your mind calm with daily prayers or meditation, take your medicines, and have faith. Take care of your health.

Haan na, high blood pressure is very dangerous for the brain. It can cause stroke if we don't take it seriously. Please go to a good doctor and keep it under control.
