Does hunger cause stomach pain?

Sometimes if I miss lunch or dinner, my stomach starts hurting really badly, like a dull ache or sometimes even a burning sensation. My friends say it's just hunger pangs. Can prolonged hunger actually lead to proper stomach pain?

Haan na, keeping the stomach empty for too long definitely causes severe burning pain. It is because of the stomach acid that builds up when there is no food to digest. Try having a small biscuit or some warm milk when you feel it starting.

Instead of waiting until the pain gets severe and running for expensive endoscopy tests, we should just eat small meals on time. Keeping some roasted chana or basic snacks handy is a very cheap and practical way to prevent acidity pain.

I know how miserable and exhausting it is to deal with that sharp, gnawing stomach pain when you are busy or stressed and can't eat on time. It used to make me feel so frustrated and physically weak. Please try to prioritize your meals, your health matters so much.

Empty stomach pain is very common but can be very uncomfortable. Try not to skip meals and drink enough water throughout the day. Take good care of your health.

An empty stomach can build up excess acid, leading to discomfort or cramping. While light movement like a gentle walk after eating can help with digestion, make sure you don't do heavy workouts on an empty stomach if you are prone to this pain.
