Does honda still make 2 stroke dirt bikes?

Hey everyone, this might be a bit off-topic for a health forum, but I'm trying to decide between a couple of bikes for off-roading. My friend said Honda stopped making 2-stroke dirt bikes a while ago, but I saw some older models online. Just wanted to confirm if they still produce them, ya know?

I totally get it, there is a special love for that old 2-stroke sound and power. But sadly, Honda stopped making them over 15 years ago to focus on cleaner engines.

They do not make them anymore, mostly due to heavy smoke and pollution. Clean air is essential for our lungs, so switching to modern 4-strokes was a good move for everyone's health.

No, they discontinued them back in 2007. Just like adapting our lifestyles to keep our health parameters stable, the automobile industry had to adapt to strict environmental standards.

I was really heartbroken when I couldn't buy a new CR85 for my son. It is tough when things we are passionate about disappear, but the current 4-stroke dirt bikes are very reliable.

It is completely fine to feel disappointed about this because those old bikes were legendary. However, Honda transitioned to 4-strokes long ago, which is much better for the environment.

No, they don't. Riding older, poorly maintained 2-strokes can lead to bad accidents due to mechanical failures. If you are riding old models, get them checked thoroughly by a professional mechanic for safety.
