Does high testosterone cause prostate cancer?

My father had prostate issues, and now I'm becoming conscious about my own prostate health. I heard that having too much testosterone can cause prostate cancer. Is there truth to this?

I read so many scary articles about this and got super anxious for my husband! Please don't panic, the link is not so direct or simple. Get a regular checkup to keep your mind at peace.

I am not a doctor, but my uncle had prostate issues and his urologist monitored his hormone levels closely. It is always better to let a professional run the proper tests.

Here I am googling prostate health at midnight instead of sleeping. Honestly, let's leave the complex science to the doctors and just schedule a yearly physical checkup, haha.

Hey, don't worry too much after reading extreme claims online. High levels don't automatically mean cancer. Just get a PSA test done if you are above 40 and have concerns.

From what I understand, high testosterone is fuel for existing cells, but doesn't necessarily create cancer. Best to get routine blood work and consult an oncologist if there's any family history.

As parents, we tend to worry about all family health issues. If any male family member is facing symptoms like trouble urinating, please take them to a doctor directly instead of researching online.

I understand how terrifying it feels to read about cancer risk. It can make you feel completely helpless. Please talk to a compassionate urologist who can explain the actual facts to you.

My doctor told me that high natural testosterone is generally not a risk, but synthetic testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) requires careful monitoring of the prostate. Always discuss this with a specialist.
