Does high fructose corn syrup cause cancer?

I'm trying to eat healthier and avoid processed foods. I keep seeing 'high fructose corn syrup' on labels. Does high fructose corn syrup actually cause cancer like some people claim?

I totally get it, these terms on food packets look so intimidating and scary. But please don't panic, eating a biscuit or chocolate occasionally won't do this. Just try to limit highly processed snacks and eat fresh foods.

I recently had a big scare and went through lots of checkups after some lifestyle issues. While HFCS isn't a direct trigger for cancer, my doctor told me it ruins metabolic health completely. Cutting it out helped my liver enzymes return to normal.

There is no definitive clinical evidence linking high fructose corn syrup directly to oncogenesis. However, it is a main contributor to obesity and insulin resistance, which increase overall disease risks. For any personal health concerns, consulting a physician is your best bet.

People on internet forums say everything causes extreme diseases. Don't believe random blogs or fake forward messages. If you have real health symptoms, schedule a proper checkup with an oncologist or GP.

Actually bro, HFCS is mostly in soft drinks and processed foods imports. I just stopped buying them and stick to normal local sweets when I want sugar. Definitely feels much safer and lighter on the stomach.

I ignored my diet for years, got high blood pressure and prediabetes, and had to visit the hospital multiple times. Don't take food ingredients lightly if you are already feeling unwell. Please go see a professional doctor for advice.

Yaar, if HFCS caused that so easily, half of my college hostel would be in trouble by now with all the instant noodles we ate. Jokes apart, it is just empty calories, so try to avoid it but don't lose sleep over it.
