Does hepatitis cause jaundice?

My younger brother has been looking a bit yellow for the past few days. My mother is worried it might be jaundice, and someone suggested hepatitis. Is jaundice a common symptom if someone has hepatitis?

I totally get it, seeing yellow eyes or skin can be so scary. Yes, hepatitis is one of the most common causes of jaundice because the liver cannot clear bilirubin. Please get a doctor's advice soon.

Yes, it definitely causes jaundice. Drinking sugarcane juice from a clean place helps cool the system, but you should not ignore serious yellowing. Please go see a doctor immediately.

Yeah, my roommate had hep last semester and his eyes turned super yellow. It is basically jaundice. He had to take a month off from college to rest, so don't take it lightly.

Yes, it causes jaundice and it is honestly so stressful to look at yourself in the mirror with yellow skin. I felt very anxious when I went through it. Just remember that it gets better once treatment starts.

Yes, jaundice is a classic sign of hepatitis. When liver cells are inflamed, bilirubin builds up in the blood. Rest up, drink plenty of fluids, and get an LFT panel done to see where the levels are.

Yes, it causes jaundice because the liver slows down. Don't try to work out or run right now, just rest completely until the doctor clears you for light walks.

Don't panic, yes it does cause jaundice, but it is a known symptom and doctors deal with it daily. Just make sure the person is resting well and eating zero oil. I am sure they will recover soon.

Yes, it causes jaundice. My mother used to give light, oil-free food during this time, but we must show the patient to a doctor to ensure the liver recovers safely.

Ho na, jaundice is the main sign of hepatitis. The liver gets weak so we see yellow skin. Give them fresh coconut water and consult a doc immediately.

Jaundice is just a symptom, the real issue behind it is often hepatitis. Stop searching for native 'jhad-phook' remedies and take the patient to a hospital. Medicine and rest are what they need.

Yes, it does. Liver inflammation prevents proper bilirubin processing, leading to jaundice. Skip the home remedies, get a proper diagnosis, and follow the doctor's plan.

Yes, but don't just assume it is simple jaundice. Hepatitis needs proper laboratory testing to find the exact strain. Consult a gastroenterologist instead of trying village remedies.
