Be careful with stomach pain. I once kept using a heating pad for what I thought was gas, but it turned out to be appendicitis and almost ruptured. If the pain is severe, localized on the right side, or accompanied by fever, drop the heat and go to the ER immediately.
A warm compress can gently relax the abdominal muscles, especially if it is due to gas or menstrual cramps. Along with a warm wrap, practicing simple Vajrasana after a light meal helps immensely with digestion. Always keep your breathing calm and deep.

I get stomach acidity and cramps sometimes, and mild heat does help calm things down. But since I manage high BP, I try to avoid stressful triggers and greasy food which actually cause the stomach issues. Regular checkups are necessary to make sure it's not something else.
