Does heart rate increase during heart attack?

I'm trying to learn more about how to recognize a heart attack, in case someone near me has one. Does the heart rate usually increase during a heart attack, or can it drop significantly? I need to know what to look out for.

Yes, the heart rate can increase significantly during a heart attack due to pain, anxiety, and the body's adrenaline rush.

Haan bilkul, heart attack ke time par pulse rate bahut tezi se badh sakta hai kyunki body panic mode mein chali jati hai na. Par kabhi kabhi rate kam bhi ho jata hai. Agar aisi koi ghabrahat ho rahi hai toh seedha emergency mein jana chahiye.

Haan beta, jab dil par thokar lagti hai toh woh bahut tezi se dhadakne lagta hai, jaise bhagne par hota hai. Hamare padosi ko jab attack aaya tha toh unka dil bahut zor-zor se chal raha tha. Aise mein turant doctor babu ke paas jana chahiye.

I panicked completely when my father's heart rate spiked to 130 during a health scare, thinking it was an attack. The doctors reassured us that while heart rate often increases due to stress and pain, it can be stabilized quickly. Just make sure to get a proper ECG done to be safe.

I recently had an attack and my heart was beating so fast, I felt like it would jump out of my chest. It was a terrifying experience, and that racing pulse along with sweating was the clear sign that something was seriously wrong. Please don't ignore a sudden racing heart.

A sudden spike in heart rate can be scary, and getting it checked at a big hospital can cost a lot. However, a basic ECG at a local diagnostic center is very cheap and will immediately show if there is an issue. It is better to spend a little on tests early than face massive emergency bills later.

As a diabetic, I have to watch my vitals very closely. An increased heart rate can indeed happen during an attack, but we might not feel the typical chest pain alongside it. It is vital to consult your cardiologist and keep track of your daily sugar and pressure levels.
