Does heart attack arm pain come and go?

Lately, I've been experiencing some pain in my left arm that comes and goes, and I'm worried. Does arm pain during a heart attack typically come and go, or is it usually constant? Trying to figure out if I should be concerned.

I recently had a mild heart attack and yes, the left arm pain actually came and went a couple of times before it became a constant heaviness. I thought it was just a muscle pull from some heavy lifting. Please don't ignore it like I did—get an ECG done immediately.

Hello. Yes, heart-related arm pain can definitely be intermittent, especially in the early stages or during angina. It might feel like a dull ache that fades and then returns with slight exertion. If it is accompanied by sweating or breathlessness, please go to the nearest emergency room.

God has given us a wonderful body that sends signals when something is wrong. Arm pain that comes and goes can indeed be a sign of poor blood flow to the heart. Keep your mind calm, stay positive, and let a doctor examine you to find the true cause.

Since managing my thyroid, I've realized how connected everything in the cardiovascular system is. Arm discomfort that comes and goes shouldn't be ignored as it can be a warning sign of cardiac issues. You should schedule a proper follow-up with your doctor and get regular cardiac screenings.

Yes, heart attack pain in the arm can absolutely come and go, so never ignore it as a simple muscle spasm.

Man, trying to figure out if my arm pain is a heart attack or just from sleeping awkwardly on my side at 3 AM is keeping me awake. But jokes aside, doctor friends tell me that heart-related pain can absolutely come and go. If you are sweating or feeling dizzy too, don't sleep on it—get checked.
