Does hashimoto's disease cause cancer?

Been living with Hashimoto's disease for several years now, and managing it with medication. Recently, I read something online that made me wonder if there's a link. Does Hashimoto's disease increase the risk of developing cancer?

Haan na, even I got so scared thinking it will turn into cancer. But actually, Hashimoto's is just an autoimmune problem where our own body fights the thyroid. It is not cancer, so don't take tension unnecessarily.

No need to panic! 🌟 Hashimoto's is an autoimmune swelling, not a cancerous growth. While you should do regular ultrasounds just to keep an eye on things, it's highly manageable with simple daily tablets! Keep smiling! 😊

No, it doesn't directly cause cancer. To keep your mind at peace, you can get a thyroid ultrasound done once a year which costs around 800 to 1200 rupees. Planning this yearly test is much better than worrying and spending money on unnecessary Google-induced panic.

Listen to me, don't let those scary internet articles freak you out. Hashimoto's is very common and simply means your thyroid is underactive. Just take your medicines regularly, go for your routine blood tests, and leave the worrying to the doctors.

It is not cancer, my dear. It is only an imbalance of energy in the body. Stay positive, keep your diet clean, and do your daily breathing exercises. God will take care of your health, so keep a calm mind.
