Does green tea help with stomach pain?

I frequently experience stomach pain after meals. My grandmother always says that a warm cup of green tea can soothe it. Does green tea actually help with stomach pain?

I barely sleep and drink green tea for health, but honestly, if I have stomach pain, green tea just makes it worse with acidity. The caffeine in it can irritate your stomach lining if it's already sensitive. Better to stick to simple warm water.

According to my health tracking app, green tea can sometimes cause mild bloating or stomach upset if taken on an empty stomach. If your stomach is already hurting, tracking shows that a light ginger or fennel infusion works much better than green tea.

I hope your stomach pain gets better soon. Green tea might be a bit too strong, so maybe just try resting and drinking plain warm water for now.

I totally get it, stomach pain can be so uncomfortable and annoying when you are trying to work. I usually avoid green tea during these times because its caffeine can sometimes trigger more cramps. Hope you feel better very soon!

Please be very careful with sudden stomach pain. I once ignored severe abdominal cramps thinking green tea would fix it, but it turned out to be appendicitis and I had to be rushed to the hospital. If the pain is sharp or continuous, go see a doctor immediately.

Oh no, stomach ache is the worst! Don't stress too much, just lie down and put a warm bag on your tummy. Skip the green tea for now, as it might make your stomach a bit acidic. Just rest up, okay?

Haan yaar, pet dard mein green tea mat peena, usse acidity badh sakti hai. Isse accha toh thodi saunf ya ajwain ka paani ubaal kar pi lo na. Vo stomach ko instantly calm karta hai.

Green tea contains tannins which can actually increase stomach acid and worsen certain types of pain, like ulcers or gastritis. It is best not to self-medicate with herbal remedies. If the pain persists, please consult a qualified physician for a proper diagnosis.
