Does green tea help u sleep?

I often struggle to fall asleep at night. My friend claims that green tea helps her relax and sleep better, but I'm confused because I thought it contains caffeine.

No, green tea actually contains caffeine which can keep you awake. Try chamomile tea or warm milk instead for sleep.

I tried drinking green tea before bed once because someone told me it relaxes the body. I ended up staying awake until 3 AM and running to the bathroom every hour! Take my advice and avoid any tea close to bedtime.

Listen, green tea has caffeine in it, even if it's less than coffee. If you drink it at night, it will definitely disturb your sleep. If you want to sleep well, put your phone away and drink simple warm water.

Hey, don't stress too much about finding the perfect sleep drink! Green tea has caffeine so it might actually keep you awake, dear. Just try listening to some light music or reading a book before sleeping, it works wonders!

Bro, green tea before bed is a terrible idea. I tried it during college exams to stay awake and it worked perfectly for that. If you actually want to sleep, avoid caffeine after 6 PM.

Don't fall for these internet articles saying green tea is a cure for insomnia. It has natural stimulants. If you are having chronic sleep issues, go see a proper doctor instead of relying on random hot beverages.

My family often suggests herbal decoctions for good sleep, but my doctor advised me to avoid any caffeine-containing drinks, including green tea, after sunset. He suggested warm water or low-fat milk instead, which has worked well for me.
