Does glp-1 cause cancer?

My doctor wants me to try a GLP-1 medicine for my blood sugar and cholesterol. I heard whispers about a possible cancer risk. Does GLP-1 actually cause cancer, and should I be concerned?

The human data so far doesn't show a strong connection to cancer, but people with a family history of medullary thyroid cancer should avoid it.

When we alter our body's chemistry with external injections, it can sometimes disrupt our natural flow of energy. While the medical risk of cancer is considered very low, practicing daily deep breathing and eating fresh sattvik food helps keep our cells healthy and resilient.

I completely understand how terrifying it is to read those warning labels; it literally gave me panic attacks for days. It is okay to feel scared, but please remember the actual risk is extremely small, and managing your metabolic health is also very important.

In my long life, I have seen many medicines launch with major warning labels that later proved to be very safe for general use. If your specialist feels it will control your blood sugar effectively, trust their experience but keep doing your routine health screenings.

I had the same concern before starting my treatment. My doctor explained that thyroid tumor risks were mostly seen in rodent studies, not humans. My tip is to get a baseline thyroid ultrasound done if you are very worried, just to be 100% sure before starting.

I usually prefer managing things with fenugreek seeds and home diets, but sometimes modern medicine is necessary. The consensus seems to be that it doesn't cause cancer in humans, but to keep your body clean, continue drinking plenty of water and eating freshly made home food.

Honestly, the internet makes everything sound like it causes cancer these days! For me, getting my sweet cravings under control was the priority. I just trust my doctor, enjoy my small portion sizes now, and try not to read too many scary articles online.
