Does gaba help you sleep?

I've been having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep for a while now. A friend recommended trying GABA supplements, saying they help relax the mind. Does GABA actually help improve sleep quality?

Don't just buy random supplements looking at online ads and Reels. Half of these things are just marketing gimmicks and can mess with your body. Better to consult a proper general physician before taking anything for sleep.

GABA is known to help calm the nervous system, but oral supplements don't always cross the blood-brain barrier effectively. Everyone's body reacts differently to these compounds. It is always safest to discuss your sleep issues with a doctor to find the root cause.

Mere bhai, sleep is so important for health. If you are struggling, please don't experiment on your own with new english tablets. Have some warm turmeric milk at night and keep mobile away, it works naturally and safely.

Do not worry too much, sleep will come when your mind finds peace. Supplements are just external supports, but our inner state matters more. Try doing simple deep breathing for ten minutes before sleeping and keep a positive heart.

I read a lot of papers on GABA before asking my neurologist about it. She explained that while it theoretically reduces brain excitability, a standard supplement might not resolve chronic insomnia. She instead adjusted my lifestyle and prescribed a safe, low-dose course specifically for my needs.
