Does focal nodular hyperplasia affect liver function?

I recently had an ultrasound and they found something called focal nodular hyperplasia on my liver. My doctor said it's usually benign, but I'm still anxious. Does this condition typically affect how well my liver functions?

Haan, shuru mein sunkar darr lagta hai, par actually FNH se liver function pe koi asar nahi padta na. Yeh ek benign yaani bina cancer wala tumor hota hai jo aamtaur par chupchaap pada rehta hai. Phir bhi doctor se consult toh karna hi chahiye.

I always believe in eating simple food like bottle gourd juice and papaya to keep the liver clean. But for conditions like focal nodular hyperplasia, domestic remedies won't cure it. You must get an ultrasound and consult a proper liver specialist.

At my age, finding any new lump sounds like a death warrant. But thankfully my gastro doc told me FNH is just a harmless scar-like bump that doesn't mess with liver enzymes. Just keep checking it once a year so it doesn't give you unnecessary tension.

Don't worry, FNH sounds like a complicated spell from Harry Potter but it's usually harmless! It just sits there minding its own business without disturbing your liver functions. Treat your liver to less oily food and it will stay perfectly happy.

Please don't go by what people say on forums about liver cleanses or detox diets for FNH. It is a specific benign condition that rarely affects liver function, but you need an MRI to confirm it. Trust only your gastroenterologist's diagnosis.
