Does fluoride cause cavities?

My dentist always recommends fluoride treatments, but my cousin told me too much fluoride can actually damage teeth. Does fluoride cause cavities, or does it prevent them?

Actually, it is the exact opposite! Fluoride helps prevent cavities by strengthening your tooth enamel, just like a good workout routine strengthens your muscles.

Oh, not at all! Fluoride actually fights cavities and repairs early stages of tooth decay. My dentist always recommends using a fluoride-based paste twice a day.

In our times, we started using fluoride toothpaste and saw a big drop in dental issues compared to our ancestors. It definitely protects teeth, doesn't cause cavities.

Fluoride is meant to prevent cavities, not cause them. But if you already have deep cavities or pain, no toothpaste or home remedy will fix it; you must see a dentist.

I used to worry about everything in my toothpaste causing problems, but after talking to many experts, I realized fluoride is actually safe and protects against cavities.

Fluoride is actually a very cheap way to prevent tooth decay and save on expensive dental fillings later. Using a basic fluoride toothpaste is a smart, budget-friendly move.
