Does flexeril help with pain?

My doctor prescribed Flexeril for my muscle spasms, and I'm hoping it provides some relief. I just wanted to confirm what to expect. Does Flexeril effectively help with pain, or is it more for muscle relaxation?

It is mainly a muscle relaxant, so it targets pain caused by spasms rather than general pain. I usually log my pain levels on my tracker and it definitely shows a drop when muscle tightness is resolved by this medication.

Haan bhai, ye muscle ke dard me aaram deti hai jab kamar ya gardan me akad ho jati hai. Par doctor se pooch kar hi lena chahiye, apne man se nahi.

It helps when your body muscles are tight and paining. Along with your doctor's medicine, apply a warm compress with a hot water bag to soothe the area naturally. Take plenty of rest, child.

Haan na, it really helps with that severe muscle stiffness. When I had a bad neck spasm, it relaxed the muscles so well, but it makes you very sleepy ho na, so take it only before sleeping.

Haan yaar, muscle pain ke liye toh kaafi badhiya kaam karti hai ye. Bas thoda dhyan rakhna ki isko khake driving mat karna, bohot neend aati hai na isse.

People online will tell you it cures all body pain, but Flexeril is a prescription drug with side effects like extreme drowsiness. Don't take it without verifying your specific symptoms with a doctor first.

It definitely helped me when I had a terrible lower back spasm last year. The pain was so bad I couldn't even bend, but Flexeril relaxed the area. Just drink lots of water because it can dry out your mouth.

I was looking this up because my dad got it for his backache. It seems it works on the central nervous system to relax muscles, which indirectly reduces the pain. It is interesting how it targets the brain signals.

Yes, it is very effective for acute muscle spasms, but remember it won't help with regular headaches or joint arthritis.

My son had a severe muscle pull during football practice and the doctor gave him this. It really helped ease his pain so he could sleep comfortably, but we made sure he didn't take it for more than three days.
