Does fasting kill cancer cells?

My family is looking into all kinds of alternative therapies for a cancer patient, and someone mentioned that fasting can target and kill cancer cells. Is this a scientifically supported claim, or is it more of a hopeful idea?

Maine bohot saare gharelu nuskhe aazmaye hain choti bimariyon ke liye, par cancer alag baat hai. Upwas se cancer ke cells nahi marte, uske liye bada ilaaj hi lagta hai. Apne mareez ko kamzor mat karo upwas karwake, unhe takat ki zaroorat hoti hai.

According to the latest research, there is some lab-level study on fasting and cancer, but it is not clinically proven to kill cancer cells in humans on its own. When I asked our family doctor, he strictly warned against self-prescribed fasting during cancer because it leads to severe muscle wasting.

My relative tried natural therapy and fasting instead of immediate chemo, and it complicated their condition severely. By the time we went to the hospital, the stage had advanced. Please don't repeat this mistake; go to an oncologist immediately.

Yoga and meditation can give immense inner strength during tough times, but we must respect modern medicine for diseases like cancer. Fasting will not clean out cancer cells. Please consult qualified medical doctors and let them guide you.

Bro, my sleep cycle is so broken that I get dizzy just standing up. If I fast on top of that, I'll end up in the ICU. Definitely don't expect fasting to fight off something as massive as cancer cells, go see a doctor!

I track all my health parameters and read a lot of medical tech blogs. Fasting might show some autophagy benefits in healthy people, but for active cancer, it cannot replace medical therapies. Don't rely on app metrics or trends for such critical health decisions.
