Does fasting help arthritis?

I've been suffering from arthritis for many years now, and the pain can be quite bad. I read somewhere that fasting might help reduce inflammation and improve arthritis symptoms. Is there any evidence for this, does it really help?

Hey, don't stress too much about strict fasting rules. Some people do feel better because it cuts down on inflammatory foods, but you don't need to starve yourself. Just try eating more turmeric and ginger, and keep your body moving gently.

Look, intermittent fasting might help reduce swelling for some people, but it is not a cure-all for arthritis. Please do not go on any extreme fasts as it can make you weak. Focus on a clean diet and discuss proper treatment options with your doctor.

Haan, maine bhi suna hai ki fasting se body detox hoti hai aur joints ka pain thoda kam hota hai. Par har kisi ki body alag hoti hai na. Thoda light dinner kiya karo aur subah halki stretchings karke dekho, fayda milega.

At this age, my joints creak like old doors anyway! Fasting might help reduce joint swelling, but honestly, skipping meals just makes me cranky. I find that avoiding fried stuff and eating simple khichdi helps my body feel much lighter and less painful.

I know how desperate and anxious you can feel when dealing with constant arthritis pain, making you want to try any diet to find relief. The fear of flare-ups is very real. Fasting can help lower inflammation slightly, but please go slow and don't stress your body.

I panicked and tried a 24-hour water fast last year hoping to cure my joint pain, but it just made me dizzy. Later, my doctor explained that simply eating a clean anti-inflammatory diet is enough. Once I cut out processed sugars, my pain naturally reduced without starving.

I am thinking of trying intermittent fasting for my knee pain. Has anyone here actually tried it and seen a real reduction in joint stiffness? I am a bit nervous that skipping meals might make me feel too weak to even walk.
