Does exercise prevent cancer?

My family has a history of cancer, so I'm trying to do everything I can to stay healthy. I've heard that physical activity is important. Does regular exercise effectively prevent cancer from developing?

Bro, honestly, exercise isn't like a magic shield that totally stops it, but it definitely cuts down the risks big time. Staying active just keeps your immune system in top gear. I read somewhere that even a 20-minute daily run makes a huge difference, so why not start today?

I can barely prevent myself from falling asleep on my office desk, let alone prevent cancer! But seriously, doctors always say a moving body is way harder to break down. Even if it's just draggin yourself out for a short walk, it helps keep the system clean, na?

See, our elders always said 'shriradya khalu dharma sadhanam' which means body is your first priority. Daily yoga and light walking keep the toxins away, which is crucial to stay safe from such chronic illnesses. Along with active life, have fresh home-cooked food with turmeric, but remember to consult a specialist if you have any family history.

With our 9-to-9 desk jobs, sitting is the new smoking actually. While exercise cannot 100% guarantee prevention because of genetics, it significantly lowers the clinical risk of many cancers. I just block 30 minutes on my calendar daily for a quick home workout; you have to make the time.

Look, keeping fit is excellent for general health, but please do not treat it as a cure or absolute prevention. I used to run marathons and still had major health scares that required intensive medical care. Always get your yearly preventive checkups done instead of just relying on gym sessions.

Dealing with chronic issues has taught me that lifestyle change is powerful, but not a absolute cure-all. Regular exercise helps regulate insulin and hormones, which directly reduces the risk of hormone-related cancers. It is a great shield, but we still have to be very careful and keep monitoring our health.

I completely understand why you are asking this, because reading about these things can get so stressful and scary. It is totally normal to feel anxious about disease prevention. Just know that adding some daily physical movement is one of the best, most positive things you can actively control to keep your body strong.
