Does exercise help kidney stones?

I recently had a painful episode with kidney stones, and I really don't want to go through that again. I'm trying to figure out all possible preventative measures. Does staying active and regular exercise help in preventing or dealing with kidney stones?

My roommate had this last semester and his doctor told him to jump and run a bit to help move the tiny stone. Honestly, drinking liters of water and pacing around the hostel corridor actually worked for him.

According to my urologist, moderate cardiovascular exercise can help prevent stones from forming because it regulates blood pressure and calcium levels. But if you already have a large stone, intense exercise can trigger sudden, severe pain, so be cautious.

Beta, walking in the morning is very good for health. Just make sure you drink plenty of clean water, maybe with a little lemon juice, and keep moving. God willing, the small stones will clear out easily.

No need to go to expensive gyms for this. Regular walking combined with drinking 3 liters of water daily is the most effective home plan. Just keep a check on your diet and avoid too much salt.

Hey buddy, don't stress too much about it. Just keep moving, go for regular evening walks, and chug lots of water. Keeping active helps your body flush things out naturally.

In our times, we relied on walking and drinking fresh barley water or coconut water. Staying active is essential, but do not push your body if you are in pain. Rest is equally important.

Please be very careful. If you have severe lower back pain or blood in your urine, do not try to run it off. Go to a hospital and get an ultrasound done first before trying any physical activity.
