Does excedrin help with fever?
My younger brother has a bit of a fever today and we have some Excedrin at home. I was wondering if it's okay to give that for fever or if it's only for pain. Just want to be sure before giving him anything.

Actually, Excedrin usually has acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine. While acetaminophen helps lower fever, caffeine is not really needed for a standard fever and is mainly for headache relief. My general physician told me that simple paracetamol is much better and safer for running a temperature.
Why go for complicated imported medicines? For normal fever, standard paracetamol like Crocin or Dolo works perfectly and is so cheap too. Just rest well, drink warm water, and use cold cloth strips on the forehead if the heat is high. If it stays more than two days, go straight to the clinic.
Don't blindly take Excedrin for fever just because some forum suggested it. It has aspirin which is not suitable for everyone, especially if you have stomach issues or are taking other meds. Ask a real doctor what is safe for your body instead of risking it.
Hope you feel better soon! 🌟 Excedrin is mostly for heavy migraines rather than regular fevers. Better to stick to normal fever pills like Dolo and drink lots of fluids. Take some warm khichdi and rest well tonight! 👍
When I get a mild fever, I stay away from heavy pills like Excedrin and focus on hydration. I load up on coconut water, orange juice, and light home-cooked meals to let my immune system recover. Don't try to work out or strain your body when you have a fever, just rest.
Bro, taking Excedrin for a normal fever is like using an SUV to go buy milk next door! It's mostly a heavy headache pill. Keep it simple and stick to basic rest and soup, unless you want to feel super hyper from the caffeine while lying down on your bed.
