Does everything cause cancer?

It feels like every other day there's news about something new causing cancer – food, plastic, stress. Sometimes it just feels like everything around us causes cancer. Is this true, or am I overthinking?

It definitely feels like everything causes it when you read online, but that is not true. However, known carcinogens like tobacco and heavy pollution are real risks. If you are experiencing persistent issues like chronic cough or sudden weight loss, please consult a doctor immediately.

Haha, if you go by internet articles, even breathing fresh air might cause it! Don't stress too much. Just focus on eating healthy, staying active, and staying happy.

I spent months worrying about plastic containers and microwave waves after a health scare in my family. The truth is, lifestyle and genetics are the primary factors. Focus on stopping habits like smoking and alcohol, rather than worrying about minor things.

No, everything does not cause cancer. The internet just exaggerates every minor risk factor.

I am just starting to learn about daily health, and all these warnings on products are really confusing. If everything isn't actually dangerous, how do we identify the real, major risk factors to avoid?

Honestly, I get so scared reading ingredients list on processed foods nowadays. Does anyone else feel like we are constantly surrounded by harmful chemicals? It is so stressful trying to live 100% healthy.

Instead of worrying about every micro-risk, focus on the big pillars of health. Regular exercise, a high-protein whole-food diet, and limiting processed sugar do more for your body than worrying about daily items. Keep it simple and stay active.
