Does everyone get hepatitis b vaccine?

My company is asking for vaccination records, and I realized I might be missing some. Does everyone in India typically get the Hepatitis B vaccine, or is it only for specific groups?

Usually, it is part of the standard childhood vaccination schedule in India now, but many older adults might have missed it. Since I have PCOS and manage multiple health follow-ups, I always prefer checking with my doctor before taking any new step. It is best to consult your healthcare provider to see if you need a booster.

Before you plan for the vaccine, get a simple blood test done to check your antibody levels. Some government centers and public hospitals provide these vaccines and tests for a very nominal charge, so look into that to save some money.

Most people do get it early on, but you can always take it later if needed. Staying active and keeping up with regular walking also keeps your general immunity in top shape. Just make sure to consult your physician about the vaccine doses first.

In our younger days, nobody was tracking these vaccines so strictly like they do for kids today. Half the time we don't even remember what shots we took back then! Better to just ask your family doctor and get it done if it is pending, life is too short to worry about liver issues.

Yes, for newborn babies, it is absolutely standard and given right at birth. My daughter got her complete doses as per the pediatrician's chart. If you are asking for an adult, please check your childhood immunization card or ask a doc.
