Does estradiol cause cancer?

My doctor is recommending estradiol therapy for my menopausal symptoms. I'm worried about the risks associated with hormones. Does estradiol cause cancer, or is it safe?

Modern medicines have many benefits but also some risks. We always believe in eating clean, turmeric-rich foods to keep the body healthy. But for hormone tablets, you must rely on your doctor's word. Do not take these pills on your own or keep taking them for years without a proper checkup.

While eating fresh vegetables and practicing yoga helps keep hormones balanced naturally, you cannot ignore the risks of long-term hormone therapy. If you notice any unusual breast lumps, abnormal bleeding, or severe pain, please go to a doctor immediately. Don't rely on home remedies for such serious concerns.

Honestly, searching health questions on the internet at 3 AM is the real health hazard here! You start with a simple question and end up convinced you have two days to live. From what my doctor told my wife, the cancer risk is very low and depends on dosage and duration. Go sleep and ask a real doc tomorrow!

I don't know much about the cancer connection, but my aunt was on this and she used to get the craziest cravings for gulab jamun! Her doctor said the medicine is safe as long as she gets her yearly mammograms done. So just enjoy your food, get your routine checkups, and don't stress too much.

I was prescribed this recently and when I read the leaflet inside, I got so scared about the cancer warning that I haven't started the dose yet. Does anyone else feel this anxious before taking hormone pills? How do you guys deal with this fear? I really need some reassurance.

Look, everything has some side effects if taken blindly. The simple solution is to get your routine mammogram and ultrasound done once a year. It costs a little but gives you absolute peace of mind while you are on estradiol. Don't worry, just stay disciplined with your medical tests.
